Everyone loves a sell out

You usually go to a dealer to get a new Volvo. For the All New XC90, you just had to come online to our digital showroom. We sold out the entire limited edition of 1,927 cars in just 47 hours.

This was an integrated award-winning campaign that had a lot of moving pieces. Things kicked off in social media, with an editorial plan full of tantalizing content that built anticipation day by day.

At the same time we crafted a digital showroom to elevate the presentation of the model, with the ambition to take the design of the entire website to a whole new level. 

This all coincided with a virtual reality experience on the floor of the car show, before finally releasing the e-commerce functionality which saw the cars snapped up in record time.
