A step ahead
The construction of Papamoa College was drawing closer but they didn't yet have a visual identity. Their vision for the school was for it to be an inspiring stepping stone that prepares students for life after school, and the transition into adulthood.
We brought the spirit of that into the logo, and we were also inspired by the breaking waves and rolling hills that surround the school. The complete rollout of the brand identity—including all wayfinding and environmental graphics—infused colour and life into the linear lines of the school’s architecture, and helped teach and guide the kids throughout the school grounds and classrooms.
